saw a '64 mays card today

a patron came in today trying to price his 1964 topps willie mays baseball card. unfortunately my only card guide goes back to 1981. i referred him a local card shop but my far-from-expert eyes told me that with slight wear around the edges and a fairly large crease in the corner, he's not going to get more than 50-60 bucks, if that. he said he's a fan and he has a signed mays photo so maybe he'll just hold onto the thing as a really beautiful piece of memorabilia. good for him.

juno on hulu

heard about hulu from jase and thought i'd check it out. pretty sweet! i wanted to try the embed feature. if it works, i really like being able to choose only a portion of the clip to embed. here goes:

google street view in sunnyvale?

whipped around the corner to get some cash out of the atm yesterday at lunch and on my way back to work, i crossed paths with the google street view camera car. the small little car had a giant periscope-like protrusion on its roof that looks like it takes pictures in nearly 360 degrees simultaneously. really cool, actually.
i was facing south on charles street and the car passed me traveling westbound on iowa avenue. today, there is imagery in that area of sunnyvale but only on charles street north of iowa. maybe sometime soon my honda and i will make the map.
